Hope Britt

I am originally from Shreveport, Louisiana and began practicing Pilates when I was in college at Louisiana Tech University. Pilates appealed to my love for dance and was like second nature because of my many years as a dancer. I fell in love with the movement and both the internal and external benefits I discovered as I practiced. I also enjoyed the benefits that Pilates lent to my dancing, which were evident as I danced through out college. I started out teaching group Pilates classes, while also teaching classes for the Louisiana Tech University football and boys’ basketball team. My husband and I moved to San Antonio in 2009 where I continued my training in Pilates and earned additional licenses in Fletcher Pilates. Teaching Pilates is my part time passion, as I am a full time teacher and cheerleading coach at Clark High School. I love sharing the concepts and techniques of Pilates with others and helping them apply these concepts to their daily life and movement. Pilates truly is a lifestyle. When not teaching, I enjoy long distance running, hiking and spending time with my family.
