All Levels Vinyasa

A fun & challenging workout for all shapes, sizes and experience levels! The teacher will assess the various levels of students present in the class and then create a sequence that is both challenging and accessible to everyone. These classes are open to a wide range of practitioners, aimed towards a moderately vigorous level with modifications given for both beginning and more advanced students. Come enjoy your stretch! All levels welcome.

Vinyasa Flow

In this practice, students flow from one posture to another, synchronizing breath and movement. Often the class begins with sun salutations, standing poses, and balancing postures, then moves to seated forward-folds, twists, backbends and inversions. Exertion may range from mild to vigorous and emphasis will vary from class to class. Modifications and variations will be offered in a supportive way for each person to practice comfortably. Appropriate for students with a basic knowledge of yoga postures.

Power Flow Vinyasa (Heated)

A heated, climate controlled Vinyasa flow practice, Power Yoga heals and detoxifies the body. A great class for students who are ready to take the next step in their journey. This will be an intermediate level flow class with more advanced poses being introduced. Temperature will be 80-90 degrees.

Evening Vinyasa Flow

Settle the mind and body to prepare for an evening of rest. Let the stresses of the day melt away as you flow from one posture to another, synchronizing breath and movement.

Hatha

Hatha Yoga is a slower paced class than vinyasa. Students perform a series of asanas, or postures, that allow for a well-balanced, strengthening and stretching throughout the entire body. Students stay in postures for longer periods than in flow classes, allowing for deep stretching and strength building within the musculature and adequate time to work on postural alignment and the breath.

Hatha Flow

In this class students will be guided through a series of asanas designed to reduce tension in the body, create flexibility and strength and promote focus in the practitioner. Suitable for all levels as modifications are offered to either make the flow more challenging or relaxing. Excellent venue for experiencing the process of precision and alignment with yoga. All levels encouraged to attend.

Fletcher Mat Pilates

The Fletcher Pilates method is intended to preserve the inspired evolution of Body Contrology, the work of Joseph and Clara Pilates, as expressed by Ron Fletcher. It is taught in order to mentor others in the physical transformation that leads from strength to balance to grace. Benefits of Fletcher matwork include enhanced spinal articulation, strengthening the core and coordination of the extremities, increased flexibility through muscular control, and increased spatial awareness through direction change and use of focus. At the core of Fletcher Pilates is movement and breath, conjoining the 2 to work together. Matwork includes movements standing, sitting, lying face up and facedown to engage the core and work the extremities, as well as enhance pelvic stabilization and spinal control. “Movement should be approached like life- with enthusiasm, joy, and gratitude- for movement is life, and life is movement, and we get out of it what we put into it.” –Ron Fletcher
